Welcome to Overbound!

You are here because you hold an Overbound occluder in your hand, one that is part of the Overbound Clarity Eyesight Trainer system of occlusion shields. You may have one shield or you may have a full set that was carefully selected for you by your vision therapist, coach or eyesight specialist. While you have likely received plenty of instructions for how to use it, you will get the most out of your new tool if you learn the information on these pages that serve as your User Guide.

The goal of the User Guide is to help you understand the product, the benefits it provides, the skills it help to develop, and when and how to use it to maximize the effectiveness of your practice.

So, let’s go!

SAFETY FIRST

BEFORE YOU BEGIN to train your vision with your new Eyesight Trainer, please review and understand the Overbound safety guidelines and the release of liability. You can access them through the button below. Please know that by using the Clarity Eyesight Trainer in any way, you agree to follow these rules and recommendations. Your safety and the safety of your eyes comes first.

SWAPPING THE SHIELDS

IF you are impatient and you just want to start, allow us to show you how to change the shields. Then, at your leasure, please learn more about your Trainer in the next section.

SWAPPING THE SHIELDS IS JUST A BREEZE

Thanks to a magnetic attachment system, changing the shields takes only a few seconds. Pull one out, click one in. Just like that!

Take your time to get familiar with the best way to hold the lens and the frame. While holding the frame, gently peel the lens off starting on one end and ending on the other.

Do not wiggle the shields out of the frame!

When inserting a new lens into the frame, align the tabs on the attachment with the hollow spots in the frame (to the left and right of the frame magnets), then gently push the lens in until the magnets connect.
