GATHER YOUR TRAINING TOOLS (ALL AT ONCE OR AS YOU GO)

Learning any new skills usually requires the right tools. When you decide to play a new instrument, you need the instrument itself, some music sheets, a metronome, and more. When you decide to train for a marathon (learning the skill of physical endurance), you will need a pair or two of very good sneakers, a water bottle, perhaps a gps app. For improving your visual skills, you will also need a few tools. You may choose to make them yourself, or purchase them from our store. Our tools are top notch, and many are the ONLY tools of its kind available worldwide. They are all made to meet the specific requirements of natural vision training and will increase your practice effectiveness.

Also, notice that the one thing you will not need are your glasses. So, set them aside during any and all practice sessions and keep them off during the day as much as you can in all safe situations.

CLARITY EYESIGHT TRAINER

This unique, patent protected, innovative vision obstruction system will accompany you throughout the CLARITY UNLEASHED program and will enable the learning of most visual skills. Occluders are an indispensable part of the Overbound approach to vision development.

As appropriate, the Eyesight Trainer is meant to be used alone (just you, your eyes and your shields), or in combination with other tools, such as those that guide your gaze or provide feedback for how well you are performing the skill you are learning.

Learn what you need to know about how to use the Trainer in the next section of the Introduction module.

If you do not have the Trainer, get yours through this link or make your own occluders before starting the program.

BROCK STRING

The Brock String, or the string with beads is a training tool that is heavily used for the purpose of eye activation, eye coordination, binocular vision development, and the extension of the distance at which you can see clearly (far or near). You can make one yourself or get it from the Overbound Shop.

TRAINING BALLS

Not only do they add a fun element to your vision practice, juggling balls are an excellent tool for 3D vision development, eye-head coordination improvement, release of astigmatism, peripheral vision development and more
Pick balls that are soft, do not bounce or run away when dropped. Unless you have excellent eye-body coordination, choosing the right balls will save you from adding a cardio session to your vision practice. Check out these Overbound training balls or find your own elsewhere.

SHIFTER

This simple tool necessary for the practice of several simple techniques helps with elimination of astigmatism, eye relaxation when focused at difficult distances, development of faster and smoother eye movements (i.e. the saccades) and the practice of looking at details. It can also accompany the practice of the Sunning. One of the most versatile printable Shifters in 2 color options can be downloaded here. More complex Shifters will likely have to be handmade to fit your needs.

FIELD OF VIEW SEPARATOR

Most commonly called the Nose Card tool, the card that is attached to your face has the ability to ensure that both eyes are involved equally in the seeing process. By eliminating any competition between the eyes in the natural area of binocular vision, this tool delivers eye activation, eye engagement, coordination and binocular vision. It is also often reached for when addressing visual overwhelm.

When homemade, this tool is rarely working well and has limited functionality. The Overbound Field of view separator works great, so that you don’t have to get frustrated during your practice. You can view it here.

As Irena Castle says: “The easier it is to practice, the more likely you stick to the process and the faster you reach your dream vision.” So, make it easy on yourself.

TRAINING CHARTS

Charts have a great ability to provide detailed feedback about your vision and about your practice. Whether used for eye exploration or during your training, charts should be your best friends from the first day you get serious about your vision improvement. Do not view them as test cards, view them as something that gives you information. Information is directly correlated with awareness and awareness leads to the desired change.

The charts needed inside Clarity Unleashed can be downloaded here. Links are also provided inside each practice section for which the charts are needed for the first time.

TRAINING GLASSES

In order for you to see without glasses, you must take your glasses off. That may be easier said than done, especially if your prescription is high and you need to see clearly to get through your everyday activities.

Remember that anytime you get new glasses, your eyes need to adjust to them, to their new strength. So what about you try the opposite and let your eyes, very gently, adjust to lower strength glasses. Let’s call them your training glasses, as you should only wear them when it is safe to do so and perhaps in short time increments, starting with moments right after your vision practice (which you must do without glasses or contacts) and prolonging the time.

If you keep using your strong/current glasses, your eyes will have to keep adjusting to them, in order for you to see. So while you practice, your work will be undermined by the current glasses.

So, how do you get your training glasses?

You can order your training glasses at very affordable prices in online stores, such as Zenni. Simply input the numbers and they will send you what you need. Don’t splurge. Chances are you will need a new pair every few months.
